About the event

In a short talk, you’ll first be introduced to the C2C school of thought and the design concept in theory.

During the subsequent guided tour of the C2C LAB – the C2C NGO’s head office, training centre and real-world laboratory, housed in a refurbished Berlin prefabricated block of flats – you’ll see the Cradle to Cradle approach in action. Through examples ranging from construction and textiles to printing and engineering, the concept becomes tangible for you: you’ll learn which materials and products are used, whether they’re safe for people and the environment, and how they’re returned to biological or technical cycles after use. Signs on site explain the solutions used step by step, and the format also offers plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions.

The C2C LAB is accessible to people with reduced mobility, and there are seats available on site.
