§1 Role and responsibilities of Circular Berlin

  • The events and/or programmes featured on this website are organised by independent organisers. The respective organisers are solely responsible for the staging of the events, ticket sales, any changes or cancellations, and the content of the events.
  • Despite careful checking, we cannot guarantee that the information provided by the organisers is complete or up to date.
  • Registration and payment of participation fees are handled exclusively by the respective organisers or their ticketing partners. No contractual relationships are established with the Circular Berlin event portal.

 

§2 Disclaimer

  • LIABILITY FOR CONTENT
    • All content on our website has been compiled with the utmost care and to the best of our knowledge. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of the content. As a service provider, we are liable under Section 7(1) of the German Telemedia Act (TMG) for our own content on these pages in accordance with general legislation. However, under Sections 8 to 10 of the TMG, we, as a service provider, are not obliged to monitor third-party information that is transmitted or stored, nor are we obliged to investigate circumstances that might indicate unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this regard is only possible from the time we become aware of a specific legal infringement. Should we become aware of any of the aforementioned legal infringements, we will remove such content immediately.
  • LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR EXTERNAL LINKS
    • Our website contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no control. We are therefore unable to accept any liability for this external content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content. The linked pages were checked for any possible legal infringements at the time the links were created. No unlawful content was identifiable at the time the links were created.   • By registering for the event via the website, the provider agrees to the processing of the personal data required for the operation of the service. Details regarding data processing are set out in the Privacy Policy described.

 

§4 Photographs and audio recordings during the event

  • For the purpose of reporting on the event and for their own public relations work, Circular Berlin and third parties commissioned or authorised by Circular Berlin (e.g. press, broadcasting or media representatives) may, on the basis of Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR, make image and sound recordings in which participants may be recognisable.
  • The photographs taken during the event may be processed, published, distributed and used for Circular Berlin’s public relations work and for reporting on the event in accordance with Article 6(1), first sentence, point (f) of the GDPR.

 

§5 Final Provision

  • The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
  • Circular Berlin reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use as necessary, insofar as this is required for the legal or content-related development of the service. Users will be informed of any significant changes in an appropriate manner.
  • Should any individual provisions of these Terms of Use be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
