About the event

The team at THE TEXTILE BUFFET invites you to a curated, interactive material installation where you can design your own badge using a large safety pin. Help yourself to a lavishly laid table full of lace, velvet ribbons, sequins, fabric scraps and found objects such as old keys or metal parts, and combine colours, shapes and textures to your own taste to create a new piece of jewellery.

Come along even if you’ve never done this before; create your own personalised accessory from upcycled materials – no sewing required – and take your unique, sustainable creation straight home with you!

Directions

Public transport: Take the U8 to Moritzplatz or the M29 bus to the Moritzplatz underground station – the Aufbau Haus is right on Moritzplatz. Alternatively, take the 140 bus to Prinzenstr./Ritterstr.
Bicycles: Bicycle parking spaces are available right next to the Aufbau Haus.
