Slow Textile Practice – Sew yourself a WALLHANGING!
Sew your own personalised patchwork wall hanging by hand using salvaged pieces of fabric, and make a conscious effort to take your time with the creative process.

About the event
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll have a morning to yourself to work on your textile upcycling project. Hand-sew your own unique wall hanging from salvaged pieces of fabric. You can take your time with the handiwork and lose yourself in the moment.
This morning, you won’t just be sewing a wall hanging. Sewing by hand slows the process down, and you can see how this slowness affects you. You can enjoy the time without any rush, entirely at your own pace.
After an introduction to the topic, you’ll have plenty of time to design and sew your own wall hanging at your own pace.
All materials and equipment will be provided. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own favourite fabrics.
You don’t need any prior knowledge. The workshop is also suitable for beginners.
Snacks and tea are also part of good ‘Slow Textile Practice’, and I’ll of course be providing these as well.
Early Bird: 45 euros per person until 18 October 2026
thereafter 50 euros per person (for a 3-hour workshop, including materials, snacks and tea)
(I’ll send you a discount code for the Early Bird offer)
