About the event

Find out how Batman Elektronik, as a repair expert at the Repair Café, gives broken everyday appliances a new lease of life. Take a look behind the scenes of a circular economy in action and discover the vision of a sustainable re-use department store: A place where repairing, reusing and sustainable consumption take centre stage. Together with Batman, you can tinker, solder and potter about with your electrical appliances here until everything works again. You’ll get to know the inner workings of your devices, understand the technical principles and gain the confidence to tackle future faults yourself. Anything that can no longer be repaired is transformed into fascinating upcycled works of art and put on display.
Bring along your broken electrical appliances (excluding mobile phones and printers) and look forward to a behind-the-scenes tour of Batman.
