About the event
Discover exclusive insights into sustainable upcycling design at the K.W.D. shop and studio in Friedrichshain, and snap up some unique one-off pieces at the Open House.
Since 2007, K.W.D. has been synonymous with high-quality upcycled design from Berlin, crafting individual bags, accessories, furniture and lighting from discarded materials such as bicycle inner tubes, cash register tape, stretch tents, lorry tarpaulins or items found at flea markets and scrap yards. At their workshop, the K.W.D. team offers you fascinating insights into the manufacturing techniques and the entire creation process behind their one-off pieces and small-batch productions.
You’re warmly invited to experience the unique texture of the materials for yourself and choose your own one-of-a-kind piece. At the Open House, you can also look forward to an exclusive sample sale featuring older designs and seconds at bargain prices!
