About the event
Turn the iridescent fabric offcuts from clubwear production into a stylish knotted bag and create your very own unique piece!
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to turn shimmering offcuts – such as sequins, lamé and satin – into a functional fashion statement. You’ll design your bag using the Japanese-inspired knotted bag pattern, combine a wide variety of fabric pieces using the patchwork technique, and learn how to masterfully handle tricky, slippery fabrics on the sewing machine.
You don’t need any prior experience, as the workshop is ideal for beginners and the team will guide you through every step. Tools, materials and sewing machines are provided on site – take your unique, hand-sewn bag straight home with you!
