About the event

In this course, Siegfried Köhler will teach you how to sharpen your knives properly yourself. As it is often not worth having cheaper knives professionally sharpened, you will be given the necessary know-how, as well as all the materials and tools you need to sharpen them yourself at home.
With over 10 years’ experience at the whetstone, Siegfried has handled plenty of knives and can get your blunt kitchen knife sharp again!

Please bring at least two blunt knives (not serrated) to the course.

The number of participants is limited to 12. If the course is fully booked, you can join the waiting list.

Directions

S-Bahn: S3, S7, S5, to Ostbahnhof – approx. 9 minutes’ walk (750 m); Underground: U5 to Straußberger Platz – approx. 4 minutes’ walk (350 m)

To run the course, I am hiring the rooms at the „Wir im Kiez" neighbourhood centre from Volkssolidarität Berlin. To find your way here, I recommend using Google Maps to navigate to the address. That always works. The event will start on time.
