About the event

A „KüfA“, short for ‘Küche für Alle’ (Kitchen for Everyone), is more than just a communal meal – it is a place for community, exchange and creativity. The team at Torhaus KochKollektiv regularly organises KüfA events. The collective transforms rescued food into plant-based dishes and creates a space for exchange and networking.

Before the event, the team collects surplus food from donations made by supermarkets and food-sharing networks to prevent it from going to waste. From 4.00 pm, you can join other volunteers on site to cook and help prepare the meals. The communal meal will be served between 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm. The event operates on a pay-what-you-can basis to enable anyone interested to take part.

KüFas go beyond simply satisfying hunger; they are about reducing food waste, strengthening the community and celebrating the joy of cooking together in a sustainable way.
