About the event

A faded T-shirt. Scraps of leather that are too small for the next product. Both often end up in the bin, even though the material is still perfectly fine. At kinkyzeit, we turn exactly these things into something new – and you can be part of it.

In the kinkyzeit workshop, you’ll experience first-hand how so-called waste can be transformed into stylish new favourite pieces. You can choose between two techniques: with bleaching, you selectively remove pigments from dark cotton items to create unique patterns, whilst with leatherwork, you’ll hand-sew a small item – such as a key ring – from offcuts from the studio.
Simply bring along one or two dark cotton items and take home some fascinating insights into the behind-the-scenes world of sustainable production!

No prior knowledge is required; materials, tools and protective clothing are provided.
