Visible Mending Workshop

Visible mending is a way of extending the life of clothes while letting the repair be part of the design. Instead of hiding flaws, we highlight them, turning holes, stains and worn-out areas into something personal and unique. In this workshop we'll explore simple hand sewing techniques using patches, stitches and embroidery to repair and give old clothes a bit of new character.

We've been doing visible mending workshops in different spaces around Berlin, bringing people together to slow down, learn from each other and repair together. No sewing experience needed, just bring something you’d like to mend and spend a few hours sewing, chatting and experimenting together.
